Guru Art Projects

In scholarly and interested conversation, Juan, a child psychiatrist fellow artist, a man of remarkable experience in this area, asked me the following question: "Do you believe that someone, like this case of sequelae of cerebral palsy, has the full capability of creating art, or Finally, to understand and enjoy it entirely? "
Did i knew the answer? Maybe not in full, as Juan spoken of things like "Fragmented Self" and in my ineptitude in unifying this fragmentation.
I myself, now fragmented and broken in my view, unified, one with the world, believed strongly that yes, this was comon to everyone ... but how to show it, how to defende it.
Guru Art Projects Painting Workshop, the May of a full spring within a sunny studio. This was the physical space in which this question fell between the parallel of our teaching methods and aesthetic desires.
Here, I finally understood the meaning of the question "Do you believe ?...".
Arts education, in essence, is an act of faith and live this faith in a world without absolute truths.
In did, facing Art we search for inner truths, we find what we believe is there.
Reunified with myself in a way was not able to defend at first: "The only joy that each Man gives to himself" of Karl Marx or the "Useless justified in our deep admiration" in Oscar Wilde´s view or even the "supreme work of these lives that need to be realized" from the perspective of Merleau-Ponti.
GAP - Guru Art Projects it´s about this belief.
The belief that in face of weach men and women´s work of art, beyond every kind of classification, there is a supreme work, overfilled with joy and precious content.
